The Bihar Development Foundation U.K. website was launched on 11th September by Hon'ble Governor of Bihar - Sri Ramkrishna Suryabhan Gavai at Raj Bhawan, Patna.

  • PM: Bihar floods a national calamity
    Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has termed Bihar floods a national calamity and has ordered an immediate release of 1.25 lakh metric tonnes of foodgrain for those affected.
  • UN to assist in flood-hit Bihar
    The UN said it has rushed its agencies to aid the government and independent bodies working to provide relief to the victims of floods due to river Kosi breaching the embankment.
  • All-party panel formed for relief work in Bihar
    An all-party meeting on Friday decided to undertake relief and rescue operations in five flood ravaged districts of Bihar on a war footing under the supervision of a panel consisting of representatives of all political parties.

Helping several hundred people affected by flood, successfully launched our first project in Khagaria district of Bihar on 28th August 2007, which was flagged of by Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr Sushil Kr Modi.
